計畫最終章＿＿大城還有好人聯展 中壢×清邁 兩城相聚

從今年四月開始，經歷了三個月、邀請三位性格完全不同的泰國藝術家Paisarn Am-pim（Oscar）、 Anurak Tanyapalit（Bin）、Surajate Tongchua（Oun）駐村交流，由 台灣藝術家走路草農藝工作室 Walking Grass Agriculture、陳冠穎及闕巧涵，接力協助完成駐村計畫。這個夏天我們將在中壢與清邁兩地聯展，呈現四月至六月不同藝術家相互交流之成果。

以下依時序介紹本次參展藝術家及其創作｜

藝術家Paisarn Am-pim藉大城還有好人為題, 展開了在台灣的旅遊肖像計畫、並改造了泰國的國旗構圖，對國家、廣告和好人的表面虛偽做出了批判。以台灣作物為題材的走路草農藝團，為這次參展的思「箱」計畫四處奔走，乘載著農作物的紙箱成為他們的創作概念，樸質信念巡迴全台。

剛畢業的藝術家 Anurak Tanyapalit，對於台灣的主權議題提出了跑步計畫、邊界攝影和老榮民的訪談，簡單詩意地觸摸台灣最敏感的政治議題。而台灣藝術家陳冠穎，置換了自身身份成為台籍日本兵，透過藝術行為開啟一種觀看地方的想像與對話。

最後一位藝術家Surajate Tongchua著眼於庶民勞動的價值，提出了三件關於勞動者影子的系列創作，以精緻的視覺表現人類發展之下被隱藏的勞動生命。合作的藝術家闕巧涵則整理了伴隨她成長的家庭雜物，藉由作品質地反思著80年代台灣的經濟、家庭、教育對現今的影響。

交流計畫概念｜
『大城還有好人』是泰國的古老諺語，最早可見於泰國阿育陀耶時期的民間著作《坤昌坤平》，意思是「阿育陀耶（即大城）英才不絕」，可解釋為『江山輩有人才出』、『天佑吾邦』之意。

我們取『大城還有好人』之表面意義，開啟台灣與泰國藝術家共同駐村創作計畫，從環境、歷史及情感方式，藝術家各自提出所屬創作脈絡中能夠當作祝福或借鏡的作品，將作品視為一種替代宗教及傳統儀式的文化交換。

Project Concept｜
[The good man in the city],the folk of Thai, was implicit the meaning— "There's always hope shining through the darkness".
Such a wisdom word inspired us creating this project -"The exchange of hope". Through this project , Taiwan and Thai artists will individually spend a month to experience the most truly and deeply life of each other's country.
During the period of project, artists will contribute either novel concept or art works from different dimensions of nature, history and culture. Their art works will be exchange as a gift of an alternative "Blessing" of most sincerely wishes to both countries.
All the final presentation will be exhibited in TPE, Chungli (TAIWAN) and Chiang Mai (THAILAND).
