我如此解讀被解讀
解讀分解像可回收的

I tend to go for two narratives
Either this kind
Or the other way

Both is to show the dissymmetry in yours
Anyone therefore could be a metaphor

You think this way
And I decode and am decoded
To the decoded interpretations, are like recyclable

Isn’t it resonating
The game we’ve sticked around


局部的人，來自魏如萱的音樂作品《局部的人》。其中一句「陌生根本就不單純 充滿局部的人」，這種情狀像極了生存的矛盾，各種錯結，各種謬誤，各種觀看。人的感官就是如此被控制，甚至經驗也是，透過各種定義去理解世界。

To the title of this exhibition ‘Partial Man’, it comes from one of the musician Waa Wei’s songs, ‘Partial Man’. One of the lyric, ‘strangeness is not simple at all/ there are full of partial man’. The lyrics explains the paradoxes in our lives, with mistake, error, and lost of all kind. Our sensory is been controlled, even our experiences. We explore and understand the world by many meanings.

我的創作一直都是記敘性，不管是文字的、繪畫的，兩者參透。藉由此次展覽並列個人自2014至2018的創作，從文字、繪畫以及物件。每件歷程都是我的局部，透過連續性的結果表現一種「線性的過程」。我不斷製造這些近乎我私人的碎片，它匯集，就會成為一個大時代的小敘事。

My working approach is always towards narratives, either writing or painting, and they interacts. About this exhibition, I collected most of my writings and paintings in recent years and, through this, aim to represent a process of linear-ing through the continuity. They are my personal fragments. To assemble them provides a micro perspective upon the macro view in our times.
