If I compartmentalise the 24 years of my life...the only memory I have vividly are the hues and colours of life itself that I have tried to create like a poetry in an empty canvas. Been exposed to colours at a very young age as my father and two older brothers were already into creating art... what fascinated me...was the gateway of freedom I found myself being an introvert... to reflect my soul with the colours in my hand and bringing joy to myself and those around me. The most basic truth is that I am trying to find myself and I want to live through my art and thereby bring a small significant change in our society these are the reason why I became a full-time artist.
Being born in this small "happy kingdom",the environment surrounded by beautiful trees and intricate architectural style, from the natural dress to the small populated contant citizens gives me a peace of mind. Whenever I feel a little stressed out I go hike up the mountain and meditate on the beauty that surrounds me. This gives me the inspiration, and I couldn't ask for better place to be born in as artists than this place which I call home. Therefore, my favorite is the conceptual art mostly based on the theme hope, love, compassion. I believe the world deserves to know and feel better and would hopefully know the beauties that each being give soul.
Every Artist in the world inspire's me through their different techniques, forms, styles and their way of expressing their feelings visually, but the most closely known and favorite of mine is Asha Kama. Not only is he the pioneer of contemporary arts and the most amazing artists in Bhutan but also is he a humble and compassionate human being. In the future, I would even like to open extension and branches of vast all over Bhutan and fulfill the dreams of many young aspiring artists just like how VAST has done for me.
