創作理念
林立偉,1988年出生於臺灣,畢業於國立台南大學 視覺藝術與設計學系 碩士。

作品透過細膩的寫實筆法與充滿想像力的構圖,營造出一種詭譎而迷人的後末日景觀。畫面中的工業設施不再是象徵進步的符號,而是被自然吞噬、遺棄或重組的廢墟,成為時代崩解後的沉默見證。無論是背負工廠煙囪的巨獸、被海水淹沒的機械城市,還是被繩索懸掛在荒廢街道上的軍機,都帶有一種強烈的寓言性。這些意象不僅刻畫了人類科技文明的遺跡,更進一步暗示著自然與機械之間曖昧而緊張的關係。

透過這些作品所傳遞的理念,反思工業化與現代化帶來的後果當人類不斷擴張其技術疆界,是否也同時埋下了衰敗的種子?在這樣的世界觀中,自然彷彿是一股潛伏的力量,終將在文明的縫隙中重新生長,收回屬於自己的領域。而人類留下的,只是冷峻的鋼鐵、荒廢的建築,與沉沒的記憶。

作品既冷靜又詩意,以視覺方式構築出一種後人類的世界觀。不僅提供觀看的經驗,更像是對未來世界的提問:當我們終將離開,這個世界會變成什麼模樣?自然會如何重新接管?科技是否終將歸於沉寂?透過這些畫面,引領觀者在沉默中思索,並在廢墟之中看見另一種形式的生命與希望。

CREATIVE CONCEPT
The work creates a strange and charming post-apocalyptic landscape through delicate realistic brushwork and imaginative composition. The industrial facilities in the picture are no longer symbols of progress, but ruins that have been swallowed up, abandoned or reorganized by nature, becoming silent witnesses after the collapse of the times. Whether it is a giant beast carrying a factory chimney on its back, a mechanical city submerged by sea water, or a military plane hanging by ropes on a deserted street, they all have a strong allegorical quality. These images not only depict the remains of human technological civilization, but also further imply the ambiguous and tense relationship between nature and machinery.

The ideas conveyed through these works may be a reflection on the consequences of industrialization and modernization when humans continue to expand their technological boundaries, are they also sowing the seeds of decline? In this worldview, nature seems to be a latent force that will eventually grow again in the cracks of civilization and reclaim its own territory. What humans have left behind is only cold steel, abandoned buildings, and sunken memories.

The work is both calm and poetic, visually constructing a post-human worldview. It not only provides a viewing experience, but also a question about the future world: What will the world look like when we eventually leave? How will nature take over again? Will technology eventually become silent? Through these images, viewers are led to contemplate in silence and see another form of life and hope in the ruins.
