陳代如，1987年生於台灣台北，2015年取得台北市立大學視覺藝術學系碩士學位。

近年來的創作以平面繪畫為主，並融合攝影的概念，當實際的光線投射於畫面上，筆觸與顏料便產生透光與投影的效果，藉此試圖突破對傳統繪畫的既定認知，進一步反思圖像、影像與觀者之間的關係，以及觀看的方式。 作品透過微型投影與透光的手法，呈現出不僅限於單一平面的複合媒材繪畫。在圖層之間拉開距離，使光線穿透至後方層次，於其上形成另一個相似的影像，營造出錯視般的空間感。當觀者移動身體或改變觀看角度時，圖像間的相對位置也隨之產生細微變化，這樣的流動性重新啟發對平面繪畫觀看方式的思考，也使畫面中的光影在虛實之間展現出不同的詮釋角度。 本系列作品中，以擦拭、塗抹、反覆堆疊的筆觸結合顏料的透光與疊影效果，使光影與色彩交織、穿透與反射，形塑出作品在時間與空間中的持續對話與延伸。

In recent years, my practice has primarily focused on painting, while incorporating concepts derived from photography. When actual light interacts with the surface of the work, the brushstrokes and pigments generate translucent projections, challenging conventional perceptions of painting. This approach invites a reconsideration of the relationship between image, light, and viewer, as well as the very act of seeing.

Through the use of micro-projection and light transmission techniques, these mixed-media paintings transcend the confines of a single flat plane. By introducing spatial intervals between layers, light penetrates to the back surfaces, forming secondary, ghostlike images that evoke a subtle sense of optical illusion. As viewers shift their positions and alter their angles of observation, the alignment of the layered images changes slightly. This dynamic quality prompts a renewed contemplation of how flat images are experienced and offers multiple readings of light and shadow as they oscillate between presence and absence.

In this series, gestures of wiping, smearing, and repeated layering are merged with the interplay of translucent pigments and overlapping shadows. The resulting compositions become a woven structure of light and color—simultaneously permeating and reflecting—through which the works engage in an ongoing dialogue with time and space.
