跑步比賽是當天最受期待、最受歡呼的項⽬。最優秀的選⼿通常是跑得最快的⼈。但「跑」不僅是比賽的⼀部分，也是我們長輩⽇常⽣活中常⽤的詞。尤其是在偏遠村莊獨居的長者，他們的兒孫現在都「跑」了—為了更好的⽣活、為了⾦錢、為了權⼒—遠離家鄉。這是⼀個既包含「移動」也包含「缺席」的詞語。

這種⽣活⽅式對於許多流散在外的藏族長者來說仍然是新的，在這裡，婚姻、家庭和為⼈⽗母的意義正在慢慢改變。曾經在社區中扮演核⼼角⾊的職責，現在都已分散—也許是被距離、抱負和渴望「授粉」了。在畫作的頂部寫著：「這是長者跳遠的最後⼀次廣播。」這句話像⼀個溫和的警告，又像⼀個最終的邀請，在⽥野上迴盪—提醒我們時間向前推移，無論我們是否準備好。

The running race is the most anticipated and cheered event of the day. The best players are usually the fastest runners. But running isn’t only part of the game—it’s also a word our elders often use in everyday life. Especially those living alone in remote villages, whose children and grandchildren are now running—after better lives, after money, after power— far from home. It’s a word that carries both movement and absence. This way of living is still new for many elders in the Tibetan diaspora, where the meaning of marriage, family, and parenthood is slowly changing. Roles that were once central to the community are now scattered—pollinated, perhaps—by distance, ambition, and longing. At the top of the painting, the phrase is written: “This is the last call for seniors’ long jump.” It echoes across the field like a gentle warning, or a final invitation—reminding us that time moves forward, whether we are ready or not.
