觀音菩薩是大乘佛教中的一位菩薩，以慈悲聞名。祂擁有白皙的肌膚與黑色的長髮，頭上戴著鑲有五顆寶石的髮飾。觀音常以千手千眼、萬化身的形象為人所知，不過在這幅作品中，我試圖描繪的是他四臂的形象：一手持蓮花，一手持念珠，另外兩手合十作祈禱之姿。

祂身上佩戴著鹿形徽章，象徵傳統上披著鹿皮的造型。觀音菩薩端坐於水邊，環繞著綠意與陽光，呈現出一種靜謐祥和的氛圍，也呼應了祂常被描繪於自然環境中、展現慈悲神情的形象。

Avalokiteshvara is a Boddhisattva from the Mahayana Buddhism who is known for his compassion. He has white skin and black hair adorned with the five jeweled hair clip. He is often known for the form with multiple heads and thousand hands. However, in this form, I have tried to depict his four arm form, one holding the lotus flower, one holding the prayer beads and two hands joined together for a prayer. He is seen here wearing deer badge as traditionally he wears a deer skin. Here I have him seated among water, greenery and the sun as he is mostly depicted in a compassionate expression in a peaceful scene surrounded with nature.
