《漂 / Drift》
Oil on canvas
42 × 35 cm
2025

Drift is part of The White Space Project, a series that explores emptiness as both a visual and emotional space.
This piece is a quiet whisper about weightlessness and drifting.
Here, I deliberately lowered the horizon, leaving behind a vast field of nearly blank sky and sea. These spaces have no clear form or destination—they simply exist, moving slowly, like the faint momentum of our lives passing through time. The grassy shore no longer serves as anchor; it’s only a pause. Two small boats drift in the distance, seemingly unmoored, floating silently amid the shimmer of quiet waves.
This work continues the series’ central idea: using emptiness as a vessel for emotion, inviting the viewer to find their own rhythm, their own sense of gravity, within a narrative that is absent.
What I aim to capture is not a specific place, but the state of drifting itself—a fragile sense of freedom, of lightness that still holds truth.
Perhaps some journeys are not meant for arrival, but simply—for passing through.
