林嶺森透過照相寫實風格，表現⾃然界的可塑性與理想化，進⽽超脫照像寫實的侷限。林嶺森以繪畫記錄他的⼼之嚮往以及⼀⽣⾏腳。不論是⽔彩或是油畫作品，都充分體現出他對光影、⾊彩、濃度的細膩寫實技巧，但除了技法上的突出，畫⾯的療癒感也是他創作的特⾊。
Lin expresses the plasticity and idealization of the natural world through his photorealistic style, thus transcending the limitations of photorealism. Lin Lingsen uses paintings to record his life. Whether it is watercolor or oil painting, he fully embodies his delicate realistic skills of light and shade, color and concentration of pigment.
