Cheng Hao excels in calligraphy, ink painting, and mineral colour. His mineral colour showcase boundless imagination, incorporating conflicting objects such as robots, deities, handprints, frogs, flames, Chinese mascots, and more, shaping them into a strong personal intellectual property. The forms are both righteous and wicked, with a mix of fierceness and adorable charm. The compositions arising from these conflicts appear strangely reasonable, worthy of contemplation, and highly amusing. The artworks are not large in size but filled with vibrant colors, making them suitable for small studios or study rooms, illuminating the mood and bringing good luck.

Cheng Hao's small regular script calligraphy is also outstanding. Seeing his calligraphy works, one can't help but admire his dedication to daily practice and constant pursuit of excellence, especially considering his young age. Cheng Hao often wonders if there are people willing to collect calligraphy after practicing it for so many years. We believe that as long as one is willing to work hard and accumulate skills in the field of art over the long term, there will always be enthusiasts and collectors who appreciate their artwork. It is the mission of Sincere Art Gallery to do our best to connect outstanding artists with appreciative collectors in every field.

After being scanned by @EasiGraph, Zheng Hao's artworks reveal his exceptional calligraphic skills and adeptness in capturing details. Among young artists, his level of accomplishment is truly rare.

    Creative Philosophy

Through the technique of appropriation and symbolism, the artist transforms cultural forms and traditional auspicious patterns found in folk art into visual experiences that resonate with contemporary society. These well-established symbols are given new meanings within the context of the present time. In terms of artistic expression, the artist employs the use of comics and bold colors, deviating from the conventional forms of auspicious symbols to convey a fresh perspective and convey the artist's own humanistic ideology and spiritual characteristics. This approach allows traditional symbols to connect more closely with the modern social context.

Folk art has created numerous iconic symbols, imbued with meanings and forms that are not often innovatively developed in contemporary art. The artist believes that folk auspicious symbols have the potential for original development in today's art world. These symbols serve functions of blessing, moral guidance, and social criticism. Through the technique of appropriation, the artist transforms the established forms of folk art symbols, injecting personal ingenuity and creativity, so that the traditional imagery can be linked to contemporary aesthetic sensibilities and enable a deeper understanding of the essence of folk art by the public.

Regarding personal symbol establishment, the artist uses elements such as frogs, robots, Buddha statues, and flames as personal symbols. The robot represents the physical body of human beings, aging gradually with the passage of time. The frog within the robot symbolizes the continuous sublimation and development of the human spirit and life, unaffected by the physical body. The Buddha statues and flames on the robot serve as reminders to cultivate compassion and eliminate all worldly afflictions.

By repeatedly using these symbols to establish a personal style and combining them with folk art symbols in their artistic forms, the artist aims to create artworks that align with their own spiritual journey.
