Plastiques at Strasbourg Marc Bloch National University, France, where he earned his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree. Additionally, he studied in the Department of Objet at Ecole Supérieure des Arts Déoratifs de Strasbourg, France, where he earned both his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and MFA degrees.
Since 1996, he has held 23 solo exhibitions, and his works have been exhibited at the National Gyeonggi Museum of Contemporary Art in South Korea. Currently, he serves as a professor at Chungang University in the Department of Sculpture, located in Seoul, South Korea, and he both lives and works in Seoul. Sangmin Lee has achieved recognition as the winner of the Contemporain Art Japan award in Bourguil, France, and as the champion of The International Snow Sculpture Competition in Quebec, Canada. Furthermore, he was awarded the Eurocreation Prize at the Pepiniere des Artistes in France.
