出⽣於德國的Uwe Mertsch，畢業於杜塞道夫美術學院Kunstakademie Düsseldorf。此校培育出許多現代及當代藝術⼤師們，其中包括博伊斯Joseph Beuys、李希特Gerhard Richter、克雷格Tony Cragg、奈良美智等。無為曾在歐洲、南美洲，以及亞洲等地區居住。豐富的創作靈感來⾃⽣活中的點點滴滴。不同的文化接觸及⽣活經驗激發出他無⽌盡的創作能量。他曾在法國、⻄班牙、美國、墨⻄哥、瓜地⾺拉、巴基斯坦、奈及利亞等地發表創作。阿波羅畫廊曾邀請Uwe Mertsch在畫廊舉辦個展，並參與台北國際藝術博覽會、台中藝術博覽會、台南藝術博覽會、德國法蘭克福藝術博覽會、德國慕尼⿊藝術博覽會、上海城市等國際藝術博覽會等。
Uwe Mertsch, born in Germany, graduated from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, a renowned art academy that has nurtured many modern and contemporary art masters, including Joseph Beuys, Gerhard Richter, Tony Cragg, and Yoshitomo Nara. Uwe Mertsch has lived in various regions such
as Europe, South America, and Asia, drawing rich creative inspiration from the everyday experiences of life. His diverse cultural encounters and life experiences have ignited his boundless creative energy. He has exhibited his works in countries including France, Spain, the United States, Mexico, Guatemala, Pakistan, and Nigeria. Apollo Art Gallery has invited Uwe Mertsch to hold solo exhibitions at the gallery and participate in international art fairs such as the Taipei International Art Fair, Taichung Art Fair, TainanArt Fair, Frankfurt Art Fair, Munich Art Fair, and Shanghai Art Fair.
