The urban artist "Demster" (b. 1984) seeks to navigate through the emotional, physical and spiritual, and attempts to make sense of one's being in an already perturbed existence in contemporary society.
His most commonly used medium is spray paint and acrylic. Often producing figurative works that encapsulate the subject in a familiar coating for viewers, Demster’s work simultaneously combines elements of street art.
Deeply rooted in the urban arts scene in Singapore, Demster co-organizes art festivals, competitions, and events, and also hosts art tours and teaching workshops. Together with his multi-disciplinary collective RSCLS and graffiti crew TAC (Titan Aerosol Crew), Demster’s mission is to eradicate the stigma of “graffiti” as an art form.
