Miki Kariya paints in acrylic on custom wood board, sometimes scraping it off. Since 2022, she has been painting the "Don't eat me!" series, which depicts a predator rabbit and a mushroom rabbit
escaping from the rabbit. Rabbit = predator and strong, mushroom = predator and weak but poisonous. The artist's unique expression is a metaphor for the current world situation. Miki Kariya has had a successful solo exhibition at Shinwa Privé Gallery in September 2022 and "Forest Rhapsody" at Christie's Hong Kong in March 2023.
