东南大学图书馆是南京市保存较为完好的民国建筑之一，东南大学图书馆是我国历史最悠久的大学图书馆之一，其前身是始建于1902 年的三江师范学堂藏书楼。
1923年国立东南大学时期，独立建馆，定名为国立东南大学孟芳图书馆，该建筑被称为中国20世纪初期图书馆建筑的优秀作品之一。
学校先后经历南京高等师范学校、国立东南大学、国立中央大学、南京工学院等历史阶段。

Southeast University Library is one of the well preserved buildings of the Republic of China in Nanjing. Southeast University Library is one of the university libraries with the longest history in China. Its predecessor is Sanjiang Normal School Library, which was built in 1902.
In 1923, during the period of National Southeast University, the library was built independently and named Meng Fang Library of National Southeast University. This building is known as one of the outstanding works of library architecture in the early 20th century in China.
The university has successively experienced the historical stages of Nanjing Higher Normal school, National Southeast University, National Central University, Nanjing Institute of Technology, etc.
