Juxtaposition of the conceptual, experimental, or the new media practices with the more conventional ones such as paintings, sculptures, and such has building a dynamic conversation within artists, curators, critics and art lovers in Indonesia and Asian region.

Can’s Gallery believes that today's role of a gallery is not only to connect with single definition of art market (collectors), more over to provide platform for artists with various background to create their works and to express their concerns to social political issues so that contemporary arts becomes the alternatives for established channel of critical thinking.
