✹ 藝術家簡介

張文菀 CHANG, Wen-Woan
目前就讀國立臺北藝術大學美術學系碩士班雕塑組。
作品常挪用藝術史對照生活的經驗,以輕鬆幽默的方式回應自身對日常的、藝術的提問和見解,試圖挑戰觀看的認知並進行觀念上的辯證,用意在於反思,進行再次思考。

✹ 展覽簡介

誠實的觀者與受騙的作品,亦或誠實的作品與受騙的觀者,
取決於判斷與認知上的思辨。
受騙的原因不是因為誠實而被蒙騙,也不是選擇相信因此受騙,
而是誠實的語句也能編造欺騙的文句。
作為觀者甚至創作者,我們或許害怕輕信而先懷疑,又或是愚昧無知的活在誤認的甜美之中。
每個人都是他自己首要的逢迎者,我們都以各自的習慣和社會價值觀去
看待事物,是否因而在不知覺中被自身的既定想法所蒙騙。此檔展覽透過藝術與生活的刻板印象推敲習以為常的理解,藉由創作表達個人的態度,也企圖指認誤讀釀成的謊言。

✹ Discourse

It is that spectator’s way of thought determines whether it is “Honest Spectator and Deceived Works” or “Honest Works and Deceived Spectator.” One is deceived not by his honesty or trustfulness. It is that lies can also be presented with a string of truthful text. As a spectator and an artist, we might either choose to doubt because of our fear of shallow faith or to unwittingly live in the fairytale of our false fantasy.
Inside everyone, there is a self-loving alter ego. Hence, we might percept things through a personal lens that deceives us with false assumptions. The show is to question the stereotype of art and life that we hold as common sense, as well as to point out the lies caused by misreading.
