《劃黑》（Black Dancing）陳松志個展即將於鯉魚藝廊開幕。

在本次展覽中，藝術家將「劃黑」視為一種介於動作與界線之間的創作書寫，不僅象徵對秩序、形式與歷史的重述與裂解，更隱含一種感知節奏的擾動與造形位移。這樣的行動既具痕跡性，也生成臨時性的空間結構，使身體與物、秩序與逸脫之間的關係得以被重新思考與經驗化。

展覽中新作多以日常家居用品為基礎，包括充滿舊時代感的方桌、木櫃、舊衣等物件，透過藝術家精準的構置策略，形成一系列相互關聯的物質場域。在此過程中，物件不再僅為再利用的素材，而轉化為一種具有文化記憶與情感殘留的結構元素。陳松志的裝置操作模糊了具象與抽象、私密與公共、日常與詩意之間的界線，反映出他對於空間身體性、材料編碼與主體感知的長期關注。《劃黑》不僅指涉視覺層面的遮蔽與開顯，更是一種延伸至觀者身體經驗的觀看策略，促使我們重新思考物件如何成為觀看、感知與歷史對話的觸媒。

In Black Dancing, Chen further conceptualizes the act of “marking black” as a form of corporeal inscription that exists between movement and boundary. This gesture signifies not only a rearticulation and disruption of order, form, and history, but also embodies a disturbance in perceptual rhythm and a displacement of energy. It is an act imbued with trace-like qualities, giving rise to ephemeral spatial structures in which the relationships between body and object, structure and escape, are reimagined and rendered experiential.

The exhibition features installations composed of familiar domestic items—vintage tables, wooden cabinets, worn clothing—strategically arranged through Chen’s refined compositional logic to form a series of interrelated material fields. In this process, objects are no longer mere recycled materials but are transformed into structural elements charged with cultural memory and emotional residue. His spatial operations blur the distinctions between figuration and abstraction, the private and the public, the everyday and the poetic—underscoring his sustained engagement with spatial corporeality, material coding, and subjective perception. Black Dancing refers not only to visual acts of concealment and revelation, but also to an embodied mode of perception. It offers a viewing strategy that draws the audience into reconsidering how objects become catalysts for seeing, sensing, and engaging with the echoes of history.

藝術家 陳松志：「劃黑 (Black Dancing)」

陳松志於1978年生於台灣南投，畢業於國立臺南藝術大學造形藝術研究所並獲得藝術碩士學位，現工作生活於台灣台中。陳松志的創作涉及複合媒體、裝置藝術，他的作品總是相伴著優雅和頹敗兩種不可分割的氣質，並展現出一種交錯在精神、現實兩個世界之間的游移。

他曾進駐國際藝術家駐留項目於日本橫濱黃金町管理中心、紐約ISCP、韓國國立現代美術館、巴黎Cité Internationale des Arts、倫敦Visiting Arts London、開羅The Townhouse Gallery。作品展出於國立臺灣美術館、中國美術館、臺北市立美術館、高雄市立美術館、臺北當代藝術館、臺北路易威登藝術空間、伊通公園等機構。並為國立臺灣美術館、臺中市立美術館、榮嘉文化藝術基金會及私人收藏。近期參與展出包括中國烏鎮當代藝術邀請展、韓國平昌雙年展、台灣雙年展。歷年曾獲2022蕭勤創作獎、2013 Louis Vuitton臺北藝術計畫首獎、2012易雅居藝術獎、2012李仲生視覺藝術獎、2005第三屆台新藝術獎年度七大視覺藝術。

Artist Chen Sung Chih: ‘Black Dancing（劃黑）‘

Chen Sung Chih (b. 1978) was born in Nantou, Taiwan. He holds an MFA from the Graduate Institute of Plastic Arts, Tainan National University of the Arts. He now lives and works in Taichung, Taiwan. The work of Chen Sung Chih engages in mixed media and installation art, and his work always mixes the qualities of elegance and dilapidation, which are rendered inseparable, demonstrating an oscillation between spirituality and reality. Chen has conducted international artist residences at numerous international art institutions, including the Koganecho Area Management Center (Yokohama, Japan); the ISCP (New York, USA); the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea; the Visiting Arts London (London, UK); and The Townhouse Gallery (Cairo, Egypt). He has exhibited at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts; the National Art Museum of China; the Taipei Fine Arts Museum; the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts; the Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA), Taipei; Espace Louis Vuitton Taipei; IT Park, etc. His works have been included in various public and private art collections, such as the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts; the Taichung Museum of Art; and the Yeh Rong Jai Culture ＆ Art Foundation. His recent exhibitions include the Wuzhen Contemporary Art Exhibition (2019); PyeongChang Biennial (2017); Taiwan Biennial (2016), etc. Chen is the recipient of the Hsiao Chin Creation Award (2022); the Espace Louis Vuitton Taipei Audition – First Prize (2013); the Yi＆C – 35 Visual Artist Support Prize (2012); the Visual Arts Prize of Li Chun-Shan Foundation; and the Taishin Arts Award—Top 7 of Visual Arts (2005).
