    ? 概述 Synopsis

    本次展覽主題「生萬藝」三字,由空間負責人及藏家共同委託和美在地道東書院書法家謝金德(道東文教協會發起人、理事長以及曾獲第一屆磺溪美展書法類首獎磺溪獎)書寫,寓意生成、衍生與不斷開展,呼應藝術作為文化延續與再生的無窮潛能。
    The theme of this exhibition, “Arts in Vitality”, was jointly commissioned by the space director and the collector, with the name calligraphed by local calligrapher Xie Jin-De (initiator and chairperson of the Tao Dong Cultural Association in Hemei and was also awarded the Huangxi Award, the First Prize in the Calligraphy category at the inaugural Huangxi Art Exhibition.) The phrase signifies generation, derivation, and continuous unfolding, echoing art’s infinite potential as a vehicle of cultural renewal and continuity.

    當藏家將國際藝術家的作品引入彰化,這不僅是一場收藏的分享,更是一種文化推動的實踐。
    When the collector brings works of international artists into Changhua, this is not only a sharing of collection but also an act of cultural advocacy.

    彰化擁有深厚百年的在地傳統──木雕的精工、糕餅的美味、布袋戲的匠藝——這些文化層積構成了「厚植」的地景,也孕育許多台灣知名藝術家如李仲生、施南生、吳天章、楊茂林、洪東祿、郭振昌、林良材、張紋瑄、黃立穎、盧冠宏、林盈潔等活躍於國內外藝術市場。
    本次藏家展出共11位海內外藝術家作品,3位海外及8位國內享有國際知名度及潛力藝術家,當這股深厚力量與國際當代藝術語言相遇,勢必引發激烈的碰撞與「共鳴」。
    Changhua carries a profound cultural tradition—woodcarving craftsmanship, the delicacy of pastries, the artistry of glove puppetry. These cultural layers form a landscape of deep “cultivation.” It has also nurtured many renowned Taiwanese artists, such as Li Zhong-Sheng, Nansun Shi, Wu Tien-Chang, Yang Mao-Lin, Hung Tung-Lu, Kuo Jen-Chang,Lin Liang-Tsai, Chang Wen-Hsuan, Huang Li-Ying, Lu Kuan-Hung, and Lin Ying-Chieh, who are actively engaged in the art market both domestically and internationally.
    This collectors’ exhibition brings together the works of 11 distinguished artists from both Taiwan and abroad, comprising 3 international participants and 8 Taiwan-based artists, each recognized for their international presence and emerging potential.When such rooted strength encounters the language of international contemporary art, it inevitably sparks intense collisions and “resonance.”

    這種碰撞並非撕裂,而是一種創新生成的互相融合:使地方文化得以被再閱讀、再詮釋,並與世界的藝術語境互相呼應。
    Yet this collision is not rupture—it is a generative fusion that allows local culture to be re-read, reinterpreted, and brought into dialogue with the global artistic discourse.

    「生萬藝」因此既是藏家視角的展覽標題,也是對彰化在地百年文化的一種宣告——它不再被視為邊陲,而是正在孕育、衍生、激烈對話的藝術場域。
    Thus, “Arts in Vitality” is not only a title from the collector’s perspective but also a declaration of Changhua’s century-old culture: no longer seen as peripheral, it is now a fertile ground for emergence, derivation, and vibrant dialogue within the field of art.



    ¶ 展出藝術家 Exhibiting Artists

    ✠ 印尼藝術家 {薩伊夫·加里波地}

    擁有印尼萬隆理工學院美術學士學位及印尼大學環境科學碩士學位,將科學背景運用於藝術創作,產出獨特的微生物風格系列作品,此次作品運用雷射雕刻於菌絲皮革。
    ✠ Syaiful Garibaldi (Indonesia)
    Holds a BFA in Fine Arts from Bandung Institute of Technology and an MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Indonesia. He applies his scientific background to artistic creation, producing a unique series of microbiological-inspired works. This exhibition presents a piece created by laser engraving on mycelium leather.

    ✠ 台灣藝術家 {張恩滿}

    出生台東,台藝大美術系碩士畢業,生活與工作於台北。她擁有一半來自原住民母親的血統,長期關注台灣原住民族如何在不可逆的現代化進程中去協調和處理其自身於文化、社會及基本生存之間的狀態。以此基礎去挖掘缺失的歷史以及外推廓繪世界的樣貌,寄望發掘藝術可以去轉化的力量。2022年更因同系列作品蝸牛的漂浮系統代表台灣參展於德國第十五屆卡塞爾文件展。也於六月公佈入選明年2026第25屆雪梨雙年展!
    ✠ Chang En-Man (Taiwan)
    Born in Taitung; earned an MFA from the Taipei National University of the Arts. Currently works and lives in Taipei. Utilising the forms of the moving image, photography, installation, and creative forms of self-organising and collective projects, Chang’s practice explores how the indigenous people of Taiwan negotiates the ever-shifting socio-cultural terrains and conditions for survival in contemporary Taiwan against the backdrop of modernisation and urbanisation, rooted in her own experiences and heritage as a half-indigenous person. With this as a point of departure, Chang excavates lost histories and narratives to explore the world at large, aiming to embody the transformative potential that art holds. In 2022, her work on the “Snail Floating System” represented Taiwan in the 15th Documenta in Kassel, Germany.In June, it was announced that she has been selected to participate in the 25th Biennale of Sydney in 2026.

    ✠ 台灣藝術家 {致穎}

    在國際間以 Musquiqui 導演身份聞名,柏林藝術大學畢業,目前工作室位於柏林,作品常體現媒介學的深度研究,探討勞工關係與全球化資本主義,以及國際政治地理的符號與事件再詮釋,為觀者帶來另一種思考歷史的角度。2019年獲西班牙哈恩內夫肯基金會與米羅基金會頒發年度LOOP錄像藝術首獎,同年也入圍德國柏林藝術獎(Berlin Art Prize)。11月份他也將在「第14屆台北雙年展:地平線上的低吟」展出,由柏林漢堡車站國家當代藝術美術館雙館長山姆·巴塔維爾與提爾·法爾拉特共同策劃。
    ✠ Chih-ying Musquiqui (Taiwan)
    Internationally recognized as a filmmaker under the name Musquiqui. A graduate of Universität der Künste Berlin, currently based in Berlin. His works often reflect deep media studies, investigating labor relations under global capitalism and re-contextualizing political and geographic symbols or historical events. His practice invites viewers to reflect on history through new perspectives. In 2019, he was awarded the annual LOOP Video Art Award by the Han Nefkens Foundation and Fundació Joan Miró in Spain, and in the same year was also shortlisted for the Berlin Art Prize in Germany. In November, he will also be featured in the 14th Taipei Biennial: whispers on the Horizon, co-curated by Sam Bardaouil and Till Fellrath, directors of the Hamburger Bahnhof – National Gallery of Contemporary Art in Berlin.

    ✠ 台灣藝術家 {張碩尹}

    工作室注重遊戲與藝術的批判性,透過多重感官體驗帶來沈浸式遊戲體驗,並由此反思人與科技、社會的關係。近期聯手英國藝術團體 Blast Theory,以互動電影裝置登上美國 SXSW 藝術節。2020年以作品《檳榔屋、山蘇床與蝸牛陷阱》拿下臺北美術獎首獎殊榮。
    ✠ Ting-Tong CHANG (Taiwan)
    His studio focuses on the critical intersection of gaming and art, creating immersive multisensory experiences that prompt reflection on humanity’s relationship with technology and society. Recently, he collaborated with the UK art collective Blast Theory, presenting the interactive film installation Proof As If Proof Were Needed at the SXSW Art Program in the U.S.In 2020, he won the First Prize at the Taipei Art Awards with his work Betel Nut House, Bird’s-Nest Fern Bed, and Snail Trap.

    ✠ 中國藝術家 {閆占城}

    畢業於西安美術學院油畫系,作品中常見人像皆有佩戴格式奇特高帽,但其實藝術家這樣獨特的表現手法是想讓我們拋開任何既定符號的印象,甚至人物的面相更是以抽象幾何色塊表現,卻又能使觀者聯想特殊意象而有重新探討這些我們固化意象的反思。
    ✠ Yan Zhan-Cheng (China)
    Graduate of Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts, Oil Painting Department. His portraits frequently feature figures wearing peculiar tall hats. This device serves to strip away preconceived symbolic associations, as he abstracts faces into geometric color blocks. While seemingly detached, the images provoke renewed reflections on the fixed symbols and impressions we carry.

    ✠ 日本藝術家 {齊藤詩織}

    畢業於東京藝大美術研究科碩班,作品常存在現實場景與超現實的主題,常在日常生活場景加入特別敘述的圖像,畫面習慣有留白或者是白色的主角如樹枝、小狗、白鳥。2020年,齊藤詩織以油畫《女狩人のごちそう》獲得了SOMPO美術館舉辦的FACE展的優秀賞。
    ✠ Shiori Saito (Japan)
    Holds a master’s degree from Tokyo University of the Arts. Her works intertwine realistic and surrealist themes, often incorporating narrative imagery into everyday scenes. Her canvases characteristically include blank spaces or white protagonists such as branches, dogs, and swans.In 2020, Shiori Saito received the Excellence Award at the FACE Exhibition organized by the Sompo Museum of Art for her oil painting ‘The Huntress’s Feast’ (女狩人のごちそう).

    ✠ 台灣藝術家 {黃海欣}

    畢業於紐約視覺藝術學院藝術創作研究所,常藉由日常觀察生活中百樣人物,以幽默及諷刺手法捕捉描繪生活中奇人趣事,呈現出作品上獨有的人類版現代百物誌。也曾獲2011年台北美術獎優選殊榮,並展出於法國龐畢度中心梅茲分館 。
    ✠ Huang Hai-Hsin (Taiwan)
    Graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York (MFA in Fine Arts). Through humorous and satirical depictions of daily life, she portrays eccentric characters and incidents, presenting a contemporary human-centered “Compendium of All Things.”She also received an Honorable Mention at the 2011 Taipei Art Awards, and exhibited at Centre Pompidou-Metz in France.

    ✠ 台灣藝術家 {黃至正}

    畢業於東海大學美術研究創作組碩士,常以影像拼貼以及金銀箔等複合媒材的應用與表現作品,作品中呈現萬物的界線總是曖昧的,如人的關係會不斷的質變而非固守於傳統,也如非二元性別的情慾展演跳脫被邊緣化的框架。也曾獲2015年台南新藝獎首獎殊榮。
    ✠ Huang Chih-Cheng (Taiwan)
    Holds an MFA in Fine Arts from Tunghai University. His works often employ collage and mixed media such as gold and silver foil. He explores the ambiguity of boundaries—relationships that constantly transform rather than remain fixed, much like the performative expressions of non-binary gender identities that transcend marginalizing frameworks.He was also awarded the First Prize at the 2015 Tainan New Art Award.

    ✠台灣藝術家 {林書楷}

    北藝大美術學系繪畫組碩士,系列作品圍繞在將父親的華慶鑄物廠(於前年正式拆除)當中被淘汰的模具,並重新將其畫上圖樣與上色,大型限地作品多堆疊成一棟棟房子、一座城市,此件展出作品也為其系列中中型尺寸盒裝裱系列,有別於小木盒系列作品。目前也剛被德鴻畫廊帶往韓國參展完2025首爾KIAF藝博。
    ✠ Lin Shu-Kai (Taiwan)
    Earned an MFA in Painting from Taipei National University of the Arts. His series centers on molds discarded from his father’s foundry (demolished the year before last), which he reinterprets through painted patterns and coloration. His large-scale site-specific installations resemble stacked houses or cities. This exhibition features a mid-sized boxed work from the series, distinct from his smaller wooden box works.Most recently, He was represented by Der Horng Gallery to participate in the 2025 KIAF Seoul .

    ✠台灣藝術家 {王挺宇}

    畢業於東海大學美術研究所,曾於2008年台北美術獎、2010年高雄美術獎皆獲得首獎殊榮,善以壓克力堆疊技法表現神話、星座、古文明的迷人意象。
    ✠ Wang Ting-Yu (Taiwan)
    MFA graduate from Tunghai University. Recipient of first prizes at the Taipei Art Awards (2008) and the Kaohsiung Art Awards (2010). Known for his use of acrylic layering techniques to conjure captivating imagery of mythology, constellations, and ancient civilizations.

    ✠台灣藝術家 {彭思錡}

    出生於台灣桃園,畢業於台北藝術大學美術系碩士,創作養分來自東方的書畫裝裱、工藝精神,為了探索書畫經驗的可能,作品多以複合媒材、空間裝置實踐,並帶入日常親密物件。本系列作品運用紙漿及瓷漿融合塗於構樹與血桐的葉片上,再行燒製至葉片與紙漿纖維消逝於中,再行金屬釉藥下彩燒製,成為獨一無二精巧細緻的仿生態陶瓷。也曾獲2023台北美術獎入選。
    ✠ Peng Si-Qi (Taiwan)
    Born in 1995 in Taoyuan, Taiwan,
    Peng Si-qi is inspired by the mounting and binding techniques for calligraphy and paintings as well as the craftsmanship of the East. Her works often take the forms of mixed media and space installations, involving familiar everyday objects hinting at the personal emotions and the ebb and flow of life. The series of works employs pulp and porcelain slip applied to leaves of paper mulberry and tung trees, later fired to erase the organic material and fix the traces. With metallic glazes and underglaze firing, she produces unique and delicate bio-inspired ceramics.She was also shortlisted for the 2023 Taipei Art Awards.
