在創作題材上,李宗仁以自然景觀為題,透過觀察、轉化、再具象化,拮取出思想主軸與相呼應的表現方式,忠實呈現自然的真與美與畫家珍視的價值,以「人法地,地法天,天法道,道法自然。」為起點,道法自然之「陰陽」並置虛實相生為畫面主軸,或靜或動,或重或輕,視覺語言姿態各異、畫家卻將其表現得極其生動。

此作「聖山/珠穆朗瑪峰」透過厚重的岩石墨色,對應白雪堆疊壯闊的山景,運用陰陽貳分的切割畫面,將其饒富個人風格的技法與人文詩意,運用色彩堆砌,透過光和影的營造,成就出一幅動人心魄、直指人心深層情感的感動經驗,讓觀者藉著畫面引入牽動,彷彿同畫家一起融入其中,接受了一場自然的洗禮與沉澱。

In terms of creative subject matter, Zongren Li takes natural landscapes as the theme, and through observation, transformation, and re-realization, he extracts the main axis of thoughts corresponding expressions methods, faithfully presenting the truth and beauty of nature and the value cherished by painters. He takes the philosophy of “Man follows the rule of the Earth;the Earth follows the rule of Heaven;Heaven follows the rule of Tao. Tao follow the being of what it is.” as the starting point, to play the interrelationship of Yin and Yang of Taoism by juxtaposing reality and void as the main axis of the picture. Whether static or dynamic, heavy or light, Zongren Li presents them vividly with different visual languages and postures.

Take this work as an example. Zongren Li uses the thick ink color of the rocks to correspond to the magnificent mountain scenery piled up with white snow. He masterfully uses the cut screen of Yin and Yang to create light and shadow, and employs his rich personal techniques and humanistic poetry to pile up colors, in which he creates a moving visual experience that touches people's hearts and the deepest emotions. The viewers are attracted unconsciously as if they are integrated into the painting with the painter, accepting a natural baptism and precipitation.
