黃建樺對於影像創作的思考從攝影的本質延伸，多年來研究「數位操控影像(Photo Manipulation)理論，透過作品對攝影形式提出新的觀點與論證，建立大眾對數位影像的理解，也將自己對於動物、人、社會之間的關係與觀察融入在作品中，蒙太奇形式建構出虛擬與真實交錯,充滿奇幻味且極具想像力的場景。
Chien-Hua Huang’s concept about image art extends from the essence of photography. He also incorporates his observations on the relationship between animals, people, and society into his works, and uses montage to construct scenes that are fantastically interesting and imaginative.
