五大工藝創作領域，藝術與設計的腦內啡

一滴腦內啡
　　讓腦創造啡，讓啡帶來快樂，讓快樂形成我們的設計。
　　用心構思、用手成就，自始、過程與結果都相信設計與工藝的本質是快樂，我們享受創造的過程，沉浸與投入在其中，樂此不疲，如同一滴最濃的腦內啡，藉由設計將工藝精神擴散給世界，一同徜徉在其中，感受其內在蘊含的愉悅本質。

二元面向
　　國立新竹教育大學藝術與設計學系，不侷限於藝術、也不框於設計；不止步於思考、更體現於技術。在各式工藝、數位與人文課程的薰陶培養下，擁有多樣的方向與思考，形成獨特而與他處不同的設計觀，因此不僅在手藝，更獲得種種領域的肯定。而在放眼於產業發展、積極追求設計專業的同時，不忘自我實現、覺察伸手可及的人與生活，摻和著藝術的設計，更得以讓人有所共鳴認同：藝術讓人驚艷，而設計讓人安心，於此一平衡上，取得最大的快樂公約數。

五式故事
　　敘述自身、敘述他人、敘述社會，以歡愉的心將言語思想體現，43件工藝作品的展出，包含金屬、木頭、陶瓷、玻璃、立體各項領域，以細膩、沉穩、溫潤、透亮、或活潑的媒材特性包裹著理念呈現，在這裡似有著五種世界，而每個世界將帶給觀者不同的故事。
　　在金工作品上發現精緻美麗的細節、在木工作品上體現溫和穩定的架構、在陶瓷作品上表現手感捏塑的溫暖、在玻璃作品上展現透明精巧的模樣、在立體作品上呈現多彩豐富的創作，正如快樂擁有不同形式，每個創作者所帶來的，是最激勵自己的那一滴腦內啡──望能在此將我們的快樂，擴散給觀者。

Five Thriving Fields of Arts and Crafts / The Endorphin Released in Arts and Design

A small dose of endorphin
　　Let endorphin be released in the brain to bringus delight, with which wesignificantlyfinalize our design.
　　We conceive our designs carefully and finalize them through exquisite craftsmanship. We are firmlyconvinced that aesthetic delight is the quintessence of design and crafts. We enjoy immersing ourselves in the process of creation and never get tired of it. As a small dose but strong endorphin, design manifests the spirit of crafts and brings contagious delight to the world. We sincerely invite you to this elaborately organized exhibition, where you will be free to explore the field of design and discover its true essence.

Multiple dimensions
　　The graduates of Department of Arts and Design, National Hsinchu University of Education not only transcend the confines of arts and design, but also make unremitting efforts in thinking and pioneering design techniques. Completing a variety of training courses in crafts, digital art, and humanities, they develop diverse orientations of creation and thinking that reflect unique views of design. They are therefore highly praised for their achievements in various fields in addition to those in crafts. They not only try hard to fulfill their own aspirations and pay attention to the people and happenings surrounding them, but also take a broad view on the industrial development and actively refine their professional skills. The greater artistic quality a design possesses, the more resonances it has for the viewers. Arts amaze people, and design comforts them. The greatest common denominator of delight thus emerges from such a harmonious balance.

Five worlds of fantacy
　　The forty-three pieces of craft work respectively narrate the stories of the creators, others, or the wider society, embodying the creators’ profound thoughts with a jubilant frame of mind. The exhibited works are created with various media such as metal, wood, ceramic and glass that display the characteristics of exquisiteness, calmness, gentleness, clearness, and liveliness, which brilliantly convey the artists’ creative ideas. This exhibition consists of five worlds of fantacy, each narrating a unique and fascinating story.
　　The metal works provide a wealth of fascinating details. The wooden works form gentle and stable structures. The ceramic works have a touch of emotional temperature of hand-making. The glass works take on crystal clear appearances. The figurative works radiate the warmth of iridescent colors. Just as that delight can take many forms, each artist presents his/her works dreived from the small dose of endorphin that inspired him/her most. In sum, we create these works and stage this exhibiton to the aesthetic delight of the viewers.
