曾仕猷以Monochrom (單色) 來表達藝術的本質，回歸到形體的基本結構及色調。然而如果嘗試以東方文化為基礎，藉由極簡主義之風格來呈現之時，繪畫就擁有更不同的意義了。
70歲開始，曾仕猷期許自己精益求精，能無拘無束地揮灑，能精確地將意念傳達地更深更遠。在大尺寸的創作中，以行動繪畫的概念自然地融入，沒有雜念，一氣呵成。最後，隨心所欲。曾仕猷說：「沉默的語言本身可以是一種語言。我不需要說出來。」他的畫作如同一位不會說話的人，但是畫作本身卻已經表露無遺，他以行動替代言語毫無保留地表達出當時的感覺，是沒有受限制的心境。
In his recent art works Tzen is using “Mono” to express the nature of art; a return to the basic structure and tone of an object.
In this year that Tzen turns seventy-one, he expects to exceed himself, creating without any restraint while conveying his idea further and deeper. Working on the large-sized paintings, Tzen naturally integrates the concept of action painting. Without any distractions in his mind, Tzen accomplishes his artwork at one go. Finally, he just follows his heart.
