〈金蘋果〉中的這顆金蘋果，可能是從希臘神話中、善於惡作劇的女神厄里斯那裏借來的，它在神話故事中是爭端與戰爭的起因，象徵著虛榮。

也可能，是伊甸園中的禁果。

再或者，是在東亞文化中的吉祥象徵：智慧之果、平安之果、喜慶之果、健康之果、美麗之果、和諧之果、團圓之果、紅色之果。

一顆平凡的蘋果，從伊甸園誕生，一路跟隨著人們內在的慾望，長出不同的樣子。

An ordinary apple, born in the Garden of Eden, takes on all the different shapes of humanity’s deepest desires.
