曹圭訓2022年全新創作，除了延續藝術家鮮明的作品形式與風格脈絡，他更多的加入暗示性符號，越趨完整地賦予畫中角色特有生命及內涵，訴諸其形式背後，屬於藝術家的個人感性。如《Vincent》的陳述內容轉而關注對角色生命經驗的探究，匯聚荷蘭後印象派畫家文森・梵谷（Vincent van Gogh）創作的經典符號，無論是房間內的木椅、向日葵，亦或漩渦狀的星夜與柏樹，它們成為梵谷往昔存在的證據，見證著藝術家某一精神時刻，實踐出無法形諸文字的真實。曹圭訓期許藉遮面待張眼的遊戲式肢體表達，體現出偉大藝術擁有超脫表面的陳述力量。

Jo Gyuhun is presenting new works in 2022 that are not only extensions to the artist’s singular form and style but also include symbols that give the character in the work a more comprehensive liveliness and meaning, alluding to the artist’s personal sentimentality behind the form. For instance, Vincent explores the life experiences of the character, gathering the classic creative symbols of Dutch Post-Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh, such as the wooden chair from the room, the sunflower, and swirling starry night and cypress tree, all evidence of Van Gogh’s existence that witnesses the artist’s spiritual state, presenting truthfulness that can't be expressed with words. Jo Gyuhun hopes that, through the body gestures of playing games, the works will present the powerful narratives of great art.
