Lee Soeul: “My hope is that the animals that have been forgotten by people, either in the woods or in the city, will have their happy endings in my paintings.” Inspired by issues in animal conservation, Lee integrates ancient mythology to present a unique and magical world. In the world of Lee, “Mimyohae,” the guardian spirit of forests, becomes a starting point that leads to countless enchanting anecdotes.
