Svetlana Grecova is a Moldovan-Ukrainian artist who has been living and working in Berlin since 2021.
She received her education in the specialty of Painting and has a diploma from the Moldavian Art College.
She participated in 15 art exhibitions, both in Ukraine and Moldova, and abroad.
The exhibition “My Universe” is already the 11th personal exhibition.

" Painting!
I`ve liked painting for as long as I can remember myself.
Since my childhood, painting for me is always a door to another new world.
When you standing in front of a new blank canvas, it`s like you`re attaching a door knobe.
You know where to go, but you only have a vague idea of what you will find there.
Something like a parallel universe !
And this is always so exciting experience! "

Svetlana works in a wide range, using a variety of painting techniques in her work.
For painting she uses oil, acrylic and watercolor, in which the artist paints landscapes, still lifes and fantasy paintings.
An integral part of Svetlana`s work is a woman who, like nature itself, is mysterious and unsolved.

" What I like most about painting is working with color.
Bright colors have always been present in my life.
I grew up with an abundance of sunshine, scents and bright colors.
I lived in different countries, immersing myself in the diversity of nature and cultures.
That is why Color is the quintessence and an integral part of my Universe! "

The artist not only infuses bright colors into her works but also engages in teaching.
Svetlana shares her experience by conducting masterclasses in painting for both children and adults.

Today, Svetlana Grecova`s works are in private collections in Moldova, France, Germany, Ukraine,
Taiwan, South Korea and the USA.
