The NARS (New York Art Residency & Studios) Foundation Juried Solo Exhibition Program provides emerging and underrepresented national and international artists with the opportunity to present a solo exhibition at the NARS Gallery. The aim of the program is to foster new dialogue and to create a forum for young artists to experiment and exchange ideas with a wider audience. The Juror for this year’s competition is Nat Trotman, Associate Curator at the Guggenheim Museum. An exhibition will be scheduled between the months of March to April 2012.

《The NARS Foundation Juried Solo Exhibition Program》 APPLICATION DEADLINE: Applications must be delivered to the office by September 15, 2011. Please note that this is not a postmark date. All application and support materials must be submitted to the NARS office no later than 5pm. APPLICATION FEE: A non-refundable application fee of $35 (US) is required with each application. Payment can be submitted via money order or personal check (drawn on a U.S. bank on U.S. funds) made payable to “NARS Foundation;” or via credit card or PayPal account using the NARS Foundation website. We do not accept electronic funds transfers. DO NOT send money via Western Union, Money Gram or Postal Money Gram. APPLICATION ACKNOWLEDGMENT: Applicants will be notified via email once the application is processed. Communication will be made via email, so please make sure the email address you give us is an account that you check regularly. NOTIFICATION: Applicants will be notified of the Juried Solo Exhibition Open Call results via email by mid-October 2011. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must submit a completed application form including a detailed exhibition proposal, a printed copy of the artist’s resume /C.V. and the following information on a CD or DVD.
