阿波羅畫廊受邀今年「大稻埕國際藝術節」於學藝埕舉辦展覽。策展主題為「到城藝遊 | 構圖台灣」，其中「到城」為大「稻埕」的諧音，試圖將視覺藝術帶到此向來以劇場及表演藝術為主的大稻埕。這次展出作品以不同媒材及風格呈現出台灣的意象。14位參與藝術家，多數為歷屆「構圖˙台灣」甄選脫穎而出的入圍者。共展出30餘件作品。「構圖˙台灣 - 視覺藝術創作徵選活動」由阿波羅畫廊和王道銀行教育基金會舉辨。以扶植35歲以下台灣藝術創作者為主旨，致力推廣具有台灣風貌之原創藝術。

黃法誠為2014年的首獎得主，他將文明介入環境的省思及手機對於生活的影響等議題帶入畫中。對於洪司丞而言，城市凌亂的天際線，是自由的象徵，也表達一種解脫的心境。黃郁筑將夜裡的寧靜及解夢後的發想透過墨、水性及礦物顏料堆疊成石塊般的造型，並加上慵懶有趣的表情。林玉雯透過油彩呈現色調與肌理，並以抽象表現風格敘述內心情感。劉默霖運用傳統水墨之媒介，融入當代視角，以動物擬人的情感，表達人類與大自然間的關係。以土地記憶為主軸，描繪回憶中童年在農園中的生活，是李怡萱創作脈絡。曾詩涵將膠彩柔和雅致的色感，融合細膩的筆法，繪製出一段脆弱的成長故事。藉由原子筆細長流暢的線條及多色彩，王昱翔勾勒出島嶼造型的立體感及律動。林昱均以華人文化常見的龍形為主軸，引申出太平洋上的一尾龍形神獸。家鄉與現居城市的變遷觀察與感受，深深影響林煥嘉的創作風格。蔡維傑透過照片寫實的風格將呈現日常生活的非日常圖景，並藉由超現實的語言併置，企圖引發觀者近一步思考。黃至正將現成物直接貼在畫布上，試圖透過對於長者上衣的記憶，揣測他人抽象的生命史。趙馥樂將城市活動及建築體，分割成垂直水平，呈現出極簡的城市面貌。顏昱齊透過寫實又超現實創作的語言，讓我們認知的形物有不同的矛盾面向呈現。

14位參展者以台灣為創作靈感，描繪這片土地的點點滴滴，以不同型態美學呈現在大稻埕。期待您的蒞臨指教！


Art trip to city | Go-to-Taiwan

Apollo Art Gallery has been invited to present an exhibition, Art trip to city | Go-to-Taiwan, at Art Yard as a part of the "Tua-Tiu-Tiann International Festival of Arts.” The curatorial theme is a play on the name of the location where the exhibition will be held, Dadaocheng, in that “dao cheng” directly translates as “to city”. Art Trip to City announces the arrival of visual arts to an area previously dominated by the performing arts. The works exhibited will present images of Taiwan across different media and styles. Most of the 14 partic-ipating artists are standout nominees from previous "To-to-Taiwan" Art Awards. More than 30 works will be exhibited.

Hua Fa-Cheng’s painting is a reflection of how civilisation intervenes in the environment. For Hung Sicheng, messy city skylines are a symbol of freedom. Huang Yuzhu contemplates his dreams through ink and mineral materials. Lin Yuwen uses Abstract Expressionism to describe her inner emotions. Liu Molin personifies animals to represent their relationships with nature. Li Yixuan describes life in the countryside through memories of the land. Zeng Shihan illustrates a sentimental narrative of growth through an usage of gentle and soft tones. With smooth and expressive lines, Wang Yuxiang uses ballpoint pen to outline the shape of the island. Using the dragon as a starting point, Lin Yu explores the meaning of Chinese culture. Lin Huanjia draws on hometown sentiments and the atmospheres of peaceful city life to influence their creations. Cai Weijie presents interpretations on daily routines through Photo-Realism. Huang Zhizheng uses clothing as their chosen medium to construct insights into the life histories of others. Through a focus on architecture, Zhao Fule produces a Minimalist outlook on street views. Yan Yuqi employs Surrealism to ponder the contradictory natures of form and matter.

Using a variety of aesthetics and skills, these 14 emerging artists prepare to bring fresh creations in visual art to Dadaocheng.
