《未來・島嶼》 2023台灣藝術家 威尼斯展覽

同樣擁有天然海洋島嶼地形的台灣與威尼斯(位於湖海交會之處)，因為此檔展覽而連結二地，與開啟未來可能性想像。

如果將藝術比喻為海洋場域，藝術家就如同其中的一座島嶼，島嶼與島嶼之間既各自獨立卻又相互連結，連結是當下的時空文化場域；而此檔展覽計畫也連結各具藝術風格特色與不同媒材類型的藝術家共同呈現展出。

國際展覽的迷人之處，在於將同一件藝術作品置放於不同文化場域後，與不同的異地文化與人群觀眾，所能激盪產生而成的新火花，這樣異地文化衝擊可能使得藝術家於當下能夠跳脫原來熟悉的母國文化的慣性思考與感受模式，而帶來重新審視自身已經僵化的思考感受慣性的機會，以獲得新觀點視野的可能或是感受靈活度與新鮮感。

此次在義大利威尼斯建築雙年展期間，參展於威尼斯Palazzo Albrizzi宮的藝術家~

期待此檔台灣藝術家透過繪畫、雕塑、裝置、影像攝影、數位多媒體、建築設計等不同藝術創作形式的展覽，在義大利威尼斯建築雙年展期間的藝術文化交流活動，能夠為台灣與威尼斯二地之間的島嶼文化內涵，帶來更多未來可能性的豐富想像。

《Future・Island》
2023 Taiwan Artist Exhibition in Venice

Taiwan and Venice (the place where the lake and the sea meet), both having natural oceanic island topography, are connected because of this exhibition, and opens up the imagination of the possibility of the future.

If art is compared to an ocean field, the artists are like one of the islands. The islands are independent but also connected to each other. The connection is the current cultural field of time and space; and this exhibition also connects various arts: Style, characteristics and artists of different media types are jointly presented and exhibited.

The fascination of international exhibitions lies in the new sparks that can be generated by placing the same work of art in different cultural fields with different cultures and crowds of people in different places. It surpasses the habitual thinking and mode of feeling of the home country culture that you are familiar with, and bring the opportunity to re-examine your own rigid thinking and feeling inertia, so as to gain the possibility of new perspectives or to feel flexibility and freshness.

We look forward to this wonderful exhibition by Taiwanese artists through different forms of artistic creation, such as painting, sculpture, installation, video photography, digital multimedia, and architectural design. The art and cultural exchange activities during the Venice Architecture Biennale will be able to provide a good foundation for Taiwan and Venice. The cultural connotations of the islands between the islands bring more rich imaginations of future possibilities.
