16mei的作品描繪著神秘且充滿詭譎氛圍的世界。在作品中藝術家將自己腦海中的植物和女孩等元素融入作品中。並且在利用漩渦狀的圖案來表達世間上無法抵抗的事物，如海浪、風以及時間的洪流。

16mei的創作靈感來自於童年時期的三種恐懼：植物、清醒夢境（Lucid Dream)、水面。16mei至今仍然對這些事物感到恐懼，但她也發現它們的美麗之處。因此她的目標是以一種舒適的方式來描繪這些恐懼中的美。她創作的核心是克服自身的恐懼，探索全新的美。

16mei於童年時期因飽受各種恐懼的折磨，在這段煎熬的日子裡，漫畫與動漫拯救了自己，因此畫作中的女孩也受到了影響而非以寫實的人物呈現。女孩們就像是故事中的各種角色，有時像天使，有時像人魚，並沒有特定的性別或種族。16mei將她們繪製成看似天真和嬌嫩的象徵，但內心卻有著不被恐懼折服的力量。

The works of 16mei depict a mysterious and subtly eerie world. In her pieces, the artist incorporates several elements from her mind, such as plants and girls, creating a unique atmosphere. She employs swirling patterns to express unstoppable forces in the world, like waves, winds, and the relentless flow of time.

16mei's creative inspiration stems from three childhood fears: plants, lucid dreams, and surface of water. Even now, she still feeling fear towards these elements, but she has discovered their beauty and aims to depict the beauty within these fears in a comfortable manner. The core of her artwork is about overcoming personal fears and exploring a new kind of beauty.

Having experienced torment from various fears during childhood, 16mei found solace in manga and anime. Consequently, the girls in her artworks are influenced by this and are not presented as realistic figures. These girls serve as various characters in her stories, sometimes resembling angels or mermaids, without specific gender or race. 16mei portrays them as seemingly innocent and delicate symbols, yet harboring a strength that refuses to be subdued by fear.

“Painting is a ritual for me to confront my inner world, and I hope those who see my works can experience similar feelings."
