當代建築設計者透過參數化工具，將抽象的設計概念轉化為具體的建築元素，探索設計中的可能性，同時展現參數化設計獨有的美學思考。在本展覽中，企圖透過數位製造作品，傳達數位製造如何賦予人們更快速、更精準地實現虛擬到現實的轉化。在參數化設計與數位製造的浪潮下，淡江大學建築系的學生們利用數位工具探索靈感，精準地交繞現實與虛擬，並展現了當代設計者對材料、組合及工法技術的未來想像。

在本次展覽的作品中，有著機械手臂與保麗龍切割的交舞、三維列印與陶藝之間的融合、CNC技術與大量客製化的推想、多樣的參數化木/金工實踐等作品，透過多樣化的材料與技術，將參數化設計與製造的概念完整呈現。

設計與製造，是兩個密不可分的環節。在此過程中，人的思考與機器不斷地在分離、過渡與重返之間游移。作品在實踐的過程，也同時展現創作者的設計敘事，啟發設計者與觀者之間的思考，並一同注入他們對未來世界的想像。


Contemporary architects utilize parametric tools to transform abstract design concepts into concrete architectural elements, exploring possibilities within design while showcasing the unique aesthetic considerations of parametric design. In this exhibition, the aim is to convey how digital fabrication facilitates a faster and more precise realization of the transition from virtual to physical. Under the wave of parametric design and digital fabrication, students from Tamkang University＆#039;s architecture department utilize digital tools to explore inspiration, intricately weaving between reality and virtuality, and showcasing contemporary designers＆#039; future imaginings of materials, compositions, and construction techniques.

Within this exhibition, there are works featuring the intertwining of robotic arms and polystyrene cutting, the fusion of 3D printing and ceramics, speculation on CNC technology and mass customization, as well as diverse practices in parametric wood/metalwork. Through a variety of materials and techniques, the concepts of parametric design and manufacturing are comprehensively presented.

Design and manufacturing are two inseparable aspects. Throughout this process, human thought and machines continuously oscillate between separation, liminality, and incorporation. While the works are realized in practice, they also simultaneously showcase the designers＆#039; narratives, inspiring reflection between creators and viewers, injecting their visions of the future world together.
