自己：王蟻宣插畫創作個展

我是誰？我是一個什麼樣的人？
台灣新銳插畫家王蟻宣，擅長將生命與對生活的觀察，轉化為筆下的細膩線條，在其獨特的溫柔筆觸中，呈現不同心理狀態的細微感受。本次展覽，她以插畫創作結合對於心理學與哲學的熱忱，仔細描繪對自身的認知，包含對自我的迷惘，以及在自我探索過程中的不同感知。創作過程中，她不僅再次體悟所有必經生命經驗的珍貴，也明白每種隨著人生階段，所衍生出的複雜情緒，亦是形塑「自我」時的重要養分。
「我感覺有個新的自己正在成形，彷彿長出腳，可以從海洋踏上陸地了。」王蟻宣檢視形成自我意識的各樣記憶，在對原始慾望和意識的探求中，經歷了混合喜悅、徬徨、恐懼等心理的自我認同與內化過程，在不同生命階段中，不斷平衡調整成「新的自我」。對她而言，創作有時像一種私密的自我治療，使她更有意識地在關係和生命的變動裡，覺察自我的蛻變，一次次重新認識並接受和以往不同面貌的自己，同時，也一次次和「舊的自我」輕聲告別：「謝謝你陪我到這裡。」

王蟻宣
生於 1987 年，畢業於東京設計師學院藝術科，以插畫創作為主，創作媒材包含壓克力顏料、鉛筆、電腦繪圖等。作品風格清新溫柔，擅長以簡潔線條和溫暖色調傳達其對於情感、愛與回憶的感受，題材多圍繞對於生活的觀察與思考，亦關注人類、心理學、哲學等研究。
2017年至今，擁有台北、台南等地之豐富個展經驗，亦曾於台灣和日本舉辦藝術聯展。除純創作外，近年常參與建案與期刊等商業插畫繪製、執行品牌 Logo 設計，並與小器生活、Viewfinder 等知名質感品牌合作，推出多元化的風格商品。


Self：Yi Hsuan Wang Solo Exhibition

Who am I? What kind of person am I?
Yi Hsuan Wang, a new emerging illustrator from Taiwan, excels at transforming her observations of life and living into delicate drawings. Through her unique and gentle style of drawing, she captures the subtle feelings of different psychological states. In this solo exhibition, she combines her passion for illustration with her interests in psychology and philosophy, carefully depicting her self-awareness. This includes the confusion about her own identity and the various perceptions encountered in the process of self-exploration. During the creation process, she once again realized the preciousness of all life experiences and understood that the complex emotions arising from different stages of life are essential nutrients for shaping the “self."
"I feel a new self is forming, as if growing legs and stepping from the ocean onto land." Yi Hsuan Wang examines the memories that shape her self-awareness and, in her quest for primal desires and consciousness, undergoes a process of self-identification and internalization, experiencing mixed emotions of joy, confusion, and fear. At various stages of life, she continually balances and adjusts to form a "new self." For her, creating art sometimes serves as a private form of self-therapy, making her more aware of her transformation in the midst of changing relationships and life circumstances. Time and again, she gets to know and accept a different version of herself, while also softly bidding farewell to her "old self" each time: "Thank you for accompanying me this far."

Yi Hsuan Wang
Yi Hsuan Wang, born in 1987, graduated from Tokyo Designer Gakuin College with a major in Art. Her work primarily focuses on illustration, using media such as acrylic paint, pencils, and digital drawing. Her style is fresh and gentle, characterized by simple lines and warm colors, conveying her feelings about emotions, love, and memories. Her subjects often revolve around observations and reflections on life, with an interest in the study of humans, psychology, and philosophy.
Since 2017, she has had extensive solo exhibition experience in cities such as Taipei and Tainan, and has also participated in joint art exhibitions in Taiwan and Japan. In addition to her pure artistic creations, she has recently been involved in commercial illustration for architectural projects and magazines, executed brand logo designs, and collaborated with well-known lifestyle brands like The Xiaoqi and Viewfinder to launch a variety of stylistic products.
