《呼吸》是陳亮璇「台北時間三部曲」的最終章，延續前作《日日》與《時時》中對時間的探索，亦是串連「洞底」個展三組作品的線索。在本次展覽中，擅長透過影像與裝置描述人與現實關係的陳亮璇，再次以「人」作為時間與感知的測量單位。透過影像，她將現實中的地下空間轉化為有機的蟻穴，甚至成為承載時間流動與現實投影的相機暗箱。

「猶有千千萬萬的春夏秋冬照輪來」一句，摘自作品《洞底》中的唸歌歌詞，也回應了藝術家長期以來對時間的觀察與測量。在這件首度嘗試的VR創作中，陳亮璇透過影像與聲音的塑造，在虛構空間裡拓展敘事與感知的邊界。本次講座以此為題，試圖從藝術家的創作軌跡出發，進一步探討影像裝置如何成為時間的容器與敘事的載體。

與談人介紹 :
林怡秀，影像與藝術評論、文字創作者，長期擔任藝術類刊物編輯、特約企劃及作者。主要書寫方向為台灣當代藝術及影像美學研究，亦關注在當代遷徙與文化現象中的歷史遺痕。專長議題式專題企劃、藝術家創作觀察、人物專訪及跨文本研究。

藝術家介紹 :
陳亮璇，2012自台北藝術大學美術創作研究所畢，2016年取得芝加哥藝術學院電影與錄像及多媒體藝術碩士學位。她的作品多嘗試在空間中以裝置實驗影像敘事。站在攝影機後方的她，運用多頻道影像、聲音和觀看角度等元素，混合實驗紀錄片與家庭錄影帶的呈現手法，創造一個揉合臺灣日常生活、個人記憶以及夢境的超現實場域，期待觀者能進入這奇異空間，窺見並打破籠罩在我們每日生活之上的人為秩序。


"Breathing" is the final chapter of Chen Liang-Hsuan＆#039;s "Taipei Time Trilogy," continuing the exploration of time found in her earlier works " Daily " and
" Hour Hour". It＆#039;s also the thread that connects the three groups of works in her solo exhibition "The Bottom of the Cave". In this show, She excels at describing the relationship between people and reality through images and installations, once again uses "people" as a way to measure time and perception. Through her visuals, she transforms underground spaces in reality into organic ant colonies, which even become a camera obscura that holds the flow of time and real-life projections.

The phrase " Autumn, Summer, Spring align, A timeless chain, a grand design" that is taken from the lyrics of a song in the work "The Bottom of the Cave" and reflects the artist＆#039;s long-standing observations and measurements of time. In this VR project, which is a first for her, Chen expands the boundaries of narrative and perception in a fictional space using images and sound. This lecture aims to start from the artist＆#039;s creative and further explore how image installations can become a container of time and carriers of narrative.

Guest Speaker:
Lin Yi-Hsiu is a writer and art critic specializing in visual media. She has long served as an editor, freelance planner, and author for art publications. Her main focus is on contemporary art in Taiwan and the study of visual aesthetics, as well as the historical traces within contemporary migrations and cultural phenomena. She specializes in thematic project planning, observing artists＆#039; creative processes, conducting interviews, and cross-textual research."

Artist:
Liang-Hsuan Chen obtained her MFA degree in 2016 from the Film, Video, New Media, and Animation Department of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Chen’s art predominately experiments space-time travel that seeks to connect together different time segments. From behind the video camera, she applies images on narratives and sounds, and creates spatial installations, and her approach of mixing experimental documentary and home video results in hyper-real states that blend together everyday life and personal memories that are uniquely Taiwanese.
