年逾九十歲耄耋之年的魏樂唐，早在1965年，畫家在美國時就已和抽象表現主義先趨帕洛克及普普藝術大師安迪．沃荷一起舉辦聯展了。其表現的技法上融合了西方的抽象藝術與中國書法、水墨畫。在繪畫風格方面則先後經歷了印象派、抽象主義及抽象表現主義。

魏樂唐的作品出現在畫布上的是經過冷靜理智的嚴謹構圖，結構合理，張力十足；但卻有如萬馬奔騰、石破天驚的筆觸及技法在營造整體畫面的氛圍。

魏老的抽象繪畫絕非恬靜柔美，而是驚濤裂岸，撼動人心，奔騰的飛白，蒼勁的線條，並非在尺寸之間的畫布所能束縛的。觀賞他的作品，我們的心也隨之遨遊，俯仰天地間的壯闊，令人有古今交錯，穿越時光隧道的暢快。

John Way, over 90th years old, has already had a joint exhibition in 1965 with abstractionism art leader Jackson Pollock and Visual art leader Andy Warhol in United States. John Way represented a combination with western abstraction art and Chinese penmanship and ink painting. His art work style experience impressionism, abstractionism and abstract expressionism from early to late period.

The composition of John Way’s art work has been structured conscientiously and tensional on the canvas however generated an atmosphere with a gallop and astonishing strokes.

John way’s abstraction is absolutely not about tranquil and sweet but terrifying waves, touching, galloping and vigorous. Somehow those atmospheres could not be limited on canvas. By viewing his art work, the sensation will be itinerating between a magnificent world and shuttling inside the time tunnel between ancient and modern time.
