Tainan is a city which full of winding alleys. Every time you walk in the endless alleys, you can see many old buildings of different forms. The only thing that does not change is those sunshine that reflect on cracked concrete walls, peel dark red brickwork, and rust iron window grills. There is always a way to find that the intense sunlight of South Taiwan is enthusiastically transmitted through the gap and bake everything in the alleys, and let those wild plants grow spontaneously from the gap. That was my first impression of her when I first came to this city, so I decided to trace all the charming corners with delicate painting strokes, and that is the origin of this creation.

台南是一個充滿蜿蜒小巷的城市，每次走在無止盡的巷弄之中總能看到許多不同樣式的老舊建築。唯一不變的是那些映照在龜裂的混凝土牆上，剝落的暗紅砌磚面以及鏽蝕的鐵花窗隙間，總有辦法找到間隙熱情透射進來的南臺灣強烈陽光，將巷子裡的一切烘烤成通紅的狀態，再任憑那些蔓生的野生植物自縫隙處任性的蔓延著。這就是初來到這座城市的我對她留下的第一印象，於是決定以細膩的筆觸將所有迷人的角落描繪下來，變成了這次創作的源起。
