禤善勤 Huen Sin Kan

1991年生於香港。於香港中文大學藝術系修畢文學士課程。

2010於香港大角咀設立工作室開始創作。他集中繪畫創作。作品題材源於生活中久違的細膩體驗和熱情。他確信生命的本質不是建基於可見的人為形式，而是最直接的覺知。所以作品刻意迴避關於歷史，宗教或政治等人為結構。相反他選擇回應一些最虛浮但具生命力的存在，可以是一隻小狗，一跟草或是自己。禤氏現於工作室與兩隻流浪狗生活，以他們及一些盆栽作為模特兒作畫。觀察動植物的生命從而對世界作出一個糢糊的回應。

Huen sin - kan

was born in 1991, Hong Kong. He studied at the Fine Arts Department of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2010, He set up a studio in Tai Kok Tsui. Working mostly on painting, Huen produces works engaging with the ideas of forgotten daily experience and passion. Studiously avoid religion, politics and history as a subject matters in his works, Huen makes direct responses to the timeless truth. He has kept two stray dogs with him in the studio, which stimulates his learning to the ideal life and allows him to response to daily occurrence.
