崔澖珍藝術家目前在釜山活躍創作，近年來他做為代表參與了釜山雙年展舉行的海外居住計畫(國際藝術城/巴黎)，並且在首爾、香港、東京和紐約持續擴展展覽版圖。過去十年，藝術家的創作經過多次改變，從‘"紅色進化"’、"賽博格"、“賽博朋克”到最近的"島嶼男孩"，崔澖珍的創作主要基於他的童年，他出生的小島 - 奧比多斯是他曾經的遊樂場，那裏有各式各樣的海洋生物以及漂浮在海灘的工業廢料，成為他中獨特的玩樂記憶，他也從科幻小說和電影汲取靈感的養分。對未來的害怕與好奇連結到人類的永生和進化，產生了‘"紅色進化"’、"賽博格"、“賽博朋克”；最近公開的"島嶼男孩"則是對於生命的本質探討的回應，崔澖珍的童年充滿好奇與快樂的回憶，而其中包含他個人故事的作品便是"島嶼男孩"，希望透過這部以藝術家本人為題的作品將幸福及治癒傳達給每個觀者。
