1925 自臺北州立臺北第三高等女學校畢業，師事鄉原古統

1930 與鄉原古統、木下靜涯、林玉山、郭雪湖等組成栴檀社
1934 有史以來第一位入選日本帝展的臺灣女畫家
1946 返臺定居後，長期受聘為臺灣省美術展覽會國畫部審查委員、評議員等職位

1929 Graduated from the Joshibi University of Art and Design, where she received tutelage from Kiyokata Kaburagi and Shinsui Ito
1925 Graduated from Taipei Municipal Zhongshan Girls High School having studied under Japanese painter Gobara Koto
*Experience
1930 Formed the Zhan-Tan Society with Gobara Koto, Kinoshita Seigai, Lin Yu-Shan, Guo Xue-Hu, amongst others
1934 Became the first Taiwanese female artists to be selected for the Imperial Art Exhibition in Japan
1946 Became a long-term juror of the Chinese painting department of the Taiwan Province Art Exhibition after returning to Taiwan
