賈恩卡洛·東諾尼的藝術作為二戰時期的一部分，如同一個尚未被發覺的寶箱，藏著來自「1932」的藝術瑰寶。

​Giancarlo Tognoni was an Italian painter, engraver and sculptor. He was born in Pisa, continuing his studies in Florence. Towards the end of the 1950s, he lived for some time in Paris, where he met Alberto Magnelli and Gino Severini. In Paris, he approaches sign and material painting. At the beginning of the 1960s, Giancarlo Tognoni moved to Milan and began to attend the artistic circles of the city.

He was fascinated by the beauty of nature. A meticulous study of details which Giancarlo Tognoni with his history and abilities enriches abstractionism in a unique way that he only has been able to grasp and express. He had his vision and took inspiration in search of an abstract expression of it. Giancarlo Tognoni considered the abstract is a reality dimension. It represents those intangible and indescribable aspects of the image, and this is a new way to express the infinite beauty of nature, which is the reason that makes his painting becomes important.
