藝術家自述

謝宜庭，1983出生，美術系畢業後從事繪畫創作多年。她作品中時常出現的黑色人形，是另一個自我的化身。那是成為母親的她，從養育孩子疲憊卻又同時滿足的身心長出來的自我。那些平凡的日常生活，成為了她的靈感來源。像是…孩子床邊的絨毛玩偶總是動物造形;執行儀式般的每日必讀睡前故事;假日午後的固定行程:看著孩子們在滑梯上上下下。她試圖創造一個個甜美夢幻的當下，讓作品成為一個入口，帶觀者回到某種接近童年的狀態。

ARTISTS STATEMENT

Hsieh Yi Ting born in 1983, has been engaged in painting creation for many years after graduating from the Department of Fine Arts. The black human figures that often appear in her works are the embodiment of another self. That is the self that she has grown out of after becoming a mother, physically and mentally exhausted from raising children but at the same time satisfied. Those ordinary daily lives have become her inspiration, for example, The toy beside the child’s bed are always in the shape of animalsl; reading a bedtime story is like a daily ritual; and the routine on holiday afternoons: watching the children go up and down the slide. She tries to create sweet and dreamy moments, making her works a portal that takes the viewer back to a state close to childhood.
