《 混亂與和平》是對世界現狀的沉思，人類正處於一個混亂不堪、充滿各種問題的世界：流行疾病、氣候變遷與生態危機、貧窮、戰爭和不平等。環繞在作品外圍、充滿混亂的是代表佛教三惡道中的三種生物：慾望、憤怒和無知（貪嗔痴），這也是佛教藝術中對人類世界：苦道的描繪。金寶創作出自己對這個世界的觀察及對於各種危害的詮釋，他沒有提出任何解答，然而在這個混亂不堪的世界中，唯有孩子是未來的希望。

This painting is a meditation on the state of the world, which appears chaotic and filled with problems: the pandemic, global climate and ecological crises, poverty, war, and inequality. The three animals that represent the three evils in Buddhism: desire, rage, and ignorance, are interwoven into the outer chaos, which recalls the depiction of the lower realms of suffering in Buddhist art. Between the chaos and the world, are the children, representing a future. There is no solution presented in this painting, only the artist’s interpretation of what the world is and what is at stake.
