The flowers, representing beauty, can be both material and spiritual, and in the material sense, they also represent impermanence. Enclosed within the meditative figure, it seeks to engulf the inner Buddha that resides within all beings. But with understanding and introspection, the Buddha can awaken and transform into a being of spiritual beauty.
