Modernity intertwined with history, culture, and religion. The hand bestows boons upon this world-tree, which has morphed and changed in modern times. The artist offers no commentary on the good or evil of change and technology, but invites the viewer to reflect on the world as it changes, and perhaps to recognize how the way things are today may be directed towards good or evil.
