在《Tangled Tail 》系列中，我試著探索創造性及局限性，兩者之間複雜的關係。透過描繪尾巴緊緊纏繞在身上的兇猛老虎，我邀請觀眾思考自己過往的成功經驗是否同時帶來了另一種限制？老虎的表情強烈而堅定，暗示著它對自己所述堅信不已；然而緊繞的尾巴提醒我們，即使是最引人入勝的人生經驗也可能成為一種束縛，我希望以此反思過往的成就可能在淺移默化中限制了我們未來的發展。而老虎的形象是人類精神中無盡的成長和充滿潛力的象徵。

In this painting, I explore the complex relationship between our personal narratives and the limitations they can impose on our lives. Through the depiction of a fierce tiger with its tail wrapped tightly around its body, I invite viewers to consider the ways in which the stories we tell ourselves can often become a source of restriction and discomfort.The tiger's expression is one of intensity and determination, suggesting a fierce commitment to the tale it has spun for itself. However, the tightness of its tail around its body serves as a reminder that even our most compelling stories can also be a source of constraint.Through this painting, I reflect on the ways in which our own narratives may be limiting our potential and to consider the possibility of rewriting these stories in order to create greater freedom and possibility. The tiger serves as a powerful symbol for the human spirit and our endless potential for growth and transformation even in the face of the most confining of tales.
