「時間的命題」

這裡有三個時鐘，沒有一個時間是準的，卻都在走著。

以時間作為命題，繪畫特許時間的終了。我們的生活中，有過「普魯斯特時刻」（Proust moment）忽而襲來的感官知覺會觸發昔年鮮明記憶的一瞬間，平淡無味的生活突然變得濃烈，而藝術作品就是延長了的普魯斯特時刻，一種經藝術感知的亙久時間。

三位藝術家的作品，有著自己的時區、時針，他們其實正在「製作時間」，這段時間內，他們足以構成「片段的記憶」。昆蟲的、鳥獸的、遠方的、延遲的，描述現在以外的事物，以及萬物跟內心的距離，在空間的夾縫中，「當代性」(contemporaneity)於此時，正用以繪製我們當下的時間圖景，而由凝滯此刻開始，也許已然成為繪畫與藝術的未來。
