    The End of the Time We Were Allowed.


    「曆是一種日常使用的出版物,用於記載時間。每頁顯示一日的叫日曆,每頁顯示一個月的叫月曆,每頁顯示全年的叫年曆。月曆常會配以圖像作為裝飾,月份牌就是月曆的其中一種裝飾畫。」


    這裡有三個時鐘,沒有一個時間是準的,卻都在走著。

    以時間作為命題,繪畫特許時間的終了。我們的生活中,有過「普魯斯特時刻」(Proust moment)忽而襲來的感官知覺會觸發昔年鮮明記憶的一瞬間,平淡無味的生活突然變得濃烈,而藝術作品就是延長了的普魯斯特時刻,一種經藝術感知的亙久時間。

    三位藝術家的作品,有著自己的時區、時針,他們其實正在「製作時間」,這段時間內,他們足以構成「片段的記憶」。昆蟲的、鳥獸的、遠方的、延遲的,描述現在以外的事物,以及萬物跟內心的距離,在空間的夾縫中,「當代性」(contemporaneity)於此時,正用以繪製我們當下的時間圖景,而由凝滯此刻開始,也許已然成為繪畫與藝術的未來。

    Taking time as the proposition, the painting franchise time is over. In our lives, there has been a "Proust moment." The sensory perception that strikes today will trigger the vivid memories of the past. The plain and tasteless life suddenly becomes intense, and the work of art is to extend The last Proust moment, an eternal time that is perceived by art.

    The works of the three artists have their own time zone and hour hand. They are actually "making time". During this time, they are enough to form "fragmented memories." Insects, birds and beasts, distant, delayed, describing things beyond the present, as well as the distance between everything and the heart, in the cracks of space, "contemporaneity" at this time is used to draw our present The time picture, starting from the stagnant moment, may have become the future of painting and art.
