展覽標題「逐花綻放的幽徑」，典故出自宋朝辛棄疾的《卜算子‧蘭》 ，逐—尋覓也。逐花綻放的幽徑—尋覓藝術花海的幽幽小徑。「逐花」亦為「探尋新竹之花的幽芳」。

本次展覽呼應新竹．城市博物館年度策展總議題「隱微的力量」，試圖尋覓社會中隱微但重要的議題，亦想提煉社會中渺小卻被忽略的記憶。綻放可指花朵盛開，亦可指聚沙成塔，撼動社會的力量，《漢書》中提到「禍固多臧於隱微，而發於人之所忽者也」即是呼籲不能輕視那些隱微的問題。而萬物生長皆有定律遁入輪迴，花朵綻放後會枯萎結果進入下一個生命周期，如同經歷挫傷後的創傷心靈，可藉由時間推移而重新振作茁壯。本次以「逐-竹也」作為展覽架構，探尋藝術家來詮釋當代性的社會議題與植物成長開花凋零，比擬議題成為煙硝破壞後的再生與希望；再藉由抽象的記憶與幻想，刺激觀者不斷地在現實與虛擬想像中來回穿梭，而形成一個迴圈，逐花追尋的是大家內心依稀的記憶，而綻放則是另一種釋然的情懷。

「逐花綻放的幽徑」展覽邀請了不同媒材及表現技法的10位藝術家及7件新竹市文化局典藏品來參展，藝術家們藉由自身鑽研之技法，表現對於自然生態具有生機力量的樣貌，及對於當代議題之反思，期待透過本展覽使觀者接觸不同媒材感官認知，亦可透過展覽反思對於隱微議題的重視及生命流逝的警醒。


On the way to find Confidant

The exhibition＆#039;s title "On the way to find Confidant" brings up the concept of the path to find a sea of artistic flowers.

The exhibition echoes the general theme "The Imperceptible Power" of Hsinchu City Museum’s annual curation, in which it tries to bring up hidden but important issues in the society and to refine small but neglected memories. In this exhibition, the “blooming of flowers” has another meaning as what the saying goes, “many a little makes a mickle”. In other words, the power accumulated by tiny bit of things could eventually become strong enough to have an impact on the whole society. There are laws and reincarnation in the growth of all things. After flowers bloom, they wither, bear fruit and enter the next life cycle. Just like the traumatized mind after experiencing contusion, it can be reinvigorated and strong with the passage of time. This exhibition looks for artists to interpret contemporary social issues and the growth, flowering and withering of plants, turning the problem into regeneration and hope after a bomb explodes; and then using abstract memories and fantasies to stimulate the audience to constantly shuttle back and forth between reality and virtual imagination , and form a reincarnation, what chasing flowers pursues is the vague memory in everyone＆#039;s heart, and blooming is another kind of relief.

The exhibition invited ten artists with different media and performance techniques and seven collections of Cultural Affairs Bureau, Hsinchu City. The artists used their own research techniques to express their vitality to the natural ecology and reflect on contemporary issues. Looking forward to Through this exhibition, viewers are exposed to sensory perceptions of different media, and can also reflect on the importance of subtle issues and the vigilance of the passing of life through the exhibition.
