木松阿公的奇想漂流木─陳木松個展

陳木松先生退休後回到老家後龍，每天都會去海邊散步。偶然拾起一塊漂流木，看著它的形態腦中充滿靈感，從此開啟了漂流木動物系列創作之路。
即使沒有藝術相關的學歷背景與訓練，也沒有專業完備的雕刻工具，僅憑著一份想要創作的心，以無限的想像力和豐富的生活經驗，讓不起眼的漂流木變身為一隻隻可愛、療癒的動物。木松阿公的作品極具個人特色，巧妙地借用漂流木原形，打造充滿童趣的動物造型，作品的每個角度都展現出樸實無華的美與生命力。觀賞者會心一笑之餘，也能充分感受到大自然的神奇與想象力的魅力。

The Whimsical Driftwood of Grandpa Mu-Song– Solo Exhibition by Mu-Song CHEN

After retiring and returning to his hometown of Houlong, Mu-Song CHEN made a habit of walking along the shoreline every day. One day, he picked up a piece of driftwood, and as he studied its form, his mind flooded with inspiration. This moment marked the beginning of his journey into creating a series of driftwood animal sculptures.
Although he lacks a formal background in art and has never received professional training in sculpture, nor possesses specialized tools, Mu-Song relies purely on his passion for creation, boundless imagination, and rich life experience. He transforms unremarkable pieces of driftwood into charming, heartwarming animals, full of life and character. Each of Grandpa Mu-Song’s works is distinctive, skillfully utilizing the natural shapes of the driftwood to craft playful and whimsical creatures. From every angle, his pieces exude a simple, unpretentious beauty and vitality. Viewers, often smiling to themselves, can’t help but marvel at the magic of nature and the captivating power of imagination woven into each sculpture.
