不丹女性藝術家Zimbiri睽違兩年再度回到台灣舉行個展《Tails & Tales - The Maze of Life》，藝術家以佛教輪迴的寓意為靈感，將「生命之輪」這一意象貫穿其中，探索心靈的深層主題，並思考思想如何塑造現實。傳統上，佛教輪迴描繪的是來世境界，但對Zimbiri而言，生命之輪同樣反映了現實世界。Zimbiri以「老虎尾巴（Tail）」暗喻心靈及思想的複雜性，它深刻影響我們的經驗與感知，並編織成了「現實的故事（Tale）／思想的迷宮（Maze）」。

 在不丹深厚的傳統文化精神熏陶下，Zimbiri在成長過程中逐漸形成了自我奉獻、謙遜、愛心與友好的價值觀，而這些價值通過創作中的老虎得以體現。她觀察到，不同情境中的行為和態度影響了思想的塑造，而外在因素雖有影響，但最終決定我們現實的是內在的觀點、態度與心態，人們可以選擇如何體驗自己的現實。對Zimbiri而言，老虎不僅是自我愛的象徵，它還提醒人們實踐自我愛與自我尊重，並將這些理念付諸行動。

Zimbiri的畫作使用Saa-tshen on Rhay-shing（一種不丹傳統顏料和泥土顏料製作的畫布），並融合了傳統素材與當代元素，作品彰顯了她在不丹成長與西方教育的雙重影響。透過這些創作，Zimbiri邀請觀眾進行內在對話，反思自我價值觀的形塑過程，並在體驗世界的過程中找到內在的力量。

Himalayan Contemporary Artist Zimbiri returns to Taiwan after a two-year hiatus with her solo exhibition, "Tails & Tales – The Maze of Life."
Inspired by the Buddhist "Wheel of Life", this series explores how our thoughts shape reality. The maze-like wheel in her work represents the realms of existence—not as distant concepts but as experiences we navigate daily. Heaven and hell are not places, but states of mind shaped by our perspectives.
Zimbiri reinterprets the Wheel of Life as a reflection of the real world, where the tiger’s #tail symbolizes the complexity of the mind and the narratives we create. Raised in Bhutan’s deeply spiritual culture, she grew up valuing humility, love, and selflessness. However, through her art, she explores the importance of confidence, independence, and self-love—qualities embodied by the tiger, a recurring motif in her work.
Using traditional SaaTshen (Bhutanese earth pigments) on RhayShing (handmade Bhutanese canvas), Zimbiri merges her Bhutanese heritage with her Western education, blending time-honored techniques with contemporary themes.
Through this exhibition, she invites viewers to reflect on their own thoughts, perceptions, and the power of the mind in shaping their reality.
