由台灣的32位藝術家串連而起，簡述了台灣藝術世代交替與前進。
藝術無國界地球村是生命共同體，已然影響藝術的思維交流與創作意識。
文化與人生哲學，不分東西，亦相互見鑑融合。

此次的展覽對生命、生活 、生態、環保等等各層面，
包含繪畫、陶藝、影音錄像、裝置、雕塑、綜合媒材等不同的藝術創作形式，
將傳承意念與新世代見地交疊呈現。

來自遙遠台灣的每位藝術家，
在靈魂與人生長河裡， 耕耘藝術，
刻畫深沉生命的多樣主題，創作著每人心中的永恆。
不同世代藝術家作品的精彩匯聚，所呈現不同藝術面貌，
有著深厚不同的東西方精神融合的內涵，具時代新思維創造的深層意義。

Formosa visits Venice
—32 Contemporary Artists from Taiwan, Venice, 2019

This exhibition brings together thirty-two artists from Taiwan whose works sketch out the generational succession of artists and the development of art in Taiwan.
In the global village, art transcends all human boundaries and all beings co-live and share lives—artistic exchange and creation accordingly become different.
Culture and philosophy likewise are beyond boundaries; and different cultures and philosophies are reciprocally beneficial and integrable.

The exhibition highlights aspects of existence, life, ecosystem, environmental protection and many other issues.
The artists’ reflections on these issues are rendered in diverse art forms, including painting, ceramics, audio video, installation, sculpture, and mixed media.
In addition, the exhibition serves as a meeting place in which art traditions are passed on and the ideas of new generations are shared.

Coming from Taiwan, a country several thousand miles away,
these artists immerse themselves in the spiritual world and the long river of time, devoting their full life to art.
They deal with a wide variety of topics on life and create the eternity in their mind.
The exhibition is indeed an ecstatic confluence of works created by artists of different generations and produced in divergent art forms.
It showcases the depth and profundity brought forth by the fusion of eastern and western thoughts; so does it convey innovative ideas about artistic creation.

We are grateful for the fantastic artistic feast held in the spring of 2019,
at Palazzo Albrizzi in Venice, Italy, in our shared global village,
in the infinite art firmament where we live and wonder freely.
